Thank you so much for the information! I have just recently purchased a Flat Lap Machine after an annual trip to North Carolina for a roundup that our club has.

During the roundup, one of our clubs members was doing cabbing demonstrations, and teaching people how to make a cab. That's all it took, I was hooked.

During our vacation, I was fortunate enough to find quite a few Rubies, Sapphires, and Emeralds at some of the area mines we went to, and a couple of the Fee mines in Franklin NC (The Sheffield mine of Discovery Channel Fame, and the Cherokee Mine).

I am working to develop the skills necessary to tackle these stones, and didn't want to mess any of them up.

I will try to remember to post some of the picture of the stones showing the before and after, when I get them done.
