Re: Re: tiny tumbled stones
Hello Mike? It is mike eh? I have thoes little polished rocks your asking about. I Tried to drill then to make beads. OUCH!!! I went to a gravell bar on the Fraser River and with the help from my wife and children picked up a tumbler full of baby agates and jaspers. Drilling sucked and the drills only lasted for a few rocks and failed. I still save any baby rocks and pass them along to some women who wire wrap and make up little figures. The 3/8" ones I pass on to my banker who makes candles and has a way of placing them in the molds. When I crack up some pieces too large I add all the chips and crumbs to the tumbler. They help with the prosess and fall through a strainer when washing so its easy to keep them. I have a spice rack with glass bottles and fill them up with the differen colours. Mike
