It sounds like you have a large saw, to have several galons of oil to clean. My friend has an 18" highland park saw and has placed bricks in the bottom of the tank to displace as much oil as possable. This raises the level of oil without raising the cost. Drain you oil from the tank and first, then scrape off the sludge left on the brichs into a paper bag as mentioned in other replys. This will help lower the cost of replaceing oil.
