Re: Epitaph for Rock Hound

Hello, Greg,

"Rock of ages cleft for me" is the first line of an old Christian hymn, the second line is "Let me hide myself in thee". My suggestions for an epitaph are:

Rock of ages cleft for me,
I made rocks into jewelry.

Rock of ages cleft for me,
How I loved lapidary.

Lapidary is the art of cutting, shaping, polishing and creating jewelry from stones.

I think it's very nice of you to make a special effort to help this veteran's family find a fitting epitaph for him.
