I am wondering if any of you have been to the Hat creek area in BC lately.
My son and i are interested in rockhounding in the area for Jasper. In particular, i am wondering if all of the prospective areas are now on privately owned land and if permission needs to or can be planned in advance. We live a significant distance away and if permission is to be arranged it would be nice to do so in advance of travelling a great distance.
