I feel your pain--I too recently acquired an HP grinder (an E12 combo unit) and was also frustrated by the lack of info. Turns out HP ceased to exist in the early 80's, when it was bought by Compton (in turn bought by Diamond Pacific). I've talked with one of the owners of DP and sadly, the only documentation that survives today is a few old catalogs and blueprints. I am in the process of tearing mine down to repair it, with generous help from members of this forum. I'm sure we could help you with a specific question.
