Bob, Thank you for your reply. I have tried all the suggestions except applying shellac to back of the stone. The stone stills falls off the dop stick after a few seconds. I have located Cabochon Cutting and Advanced Cabochon Cutting by Jack Cox on the Covington Engineering web page. I have ordered them but in the mean time I will keep trying. Thanks,
